SYNOPSIS

What happen when two kids meet in a virtual world of an online videogame?  A contemporary love story that blurs physical boundaries.

THE DIRECTOR

Rä di Martino is a visual artist and filmmaker. Her films and video works have been exhibited in numerous institutions, museums and film festivals, such as: MoMA-PS1, New York; Tate Modern, London; NiMK Netherlands Media Arts, Amsterdam; MCA, Chicago; Palazzo Grassi-Punta della Dogana, Venice; Artists Space, New York; Museion, Bolzano; Busan Biennial; Manifesta; Kino der Kunst, Munich, Viper Basel and Transmediale Berlin.
In 2014, he presented his first medium-length film “The Show MAS Go On” at the Venice International Film Festival, winning the Gillo Pontecorvo and SIAE awards and winning a Silver Ribbon for best docufilm. In 2018 her first feature film “Controfigura,” winner of Eurimages Lab Award, was presented at the Venice Film Festival and was on the shortlist for the Nastri d’Argento.
